Welcome!
I am so pleased you could stop by. Take a moment to browse my
site – check out my jewelry plus my other artistic ideas. I am a
simple and humble (for the most part) artist, an entrepreneurial spirit
if you will, who loves to
create jewelry and play with beads (a habit I cannot break). I also
write, draw, paint (as in teddy bear murals on my grandson’s
bedroom wall), sculpt and sew. I dabble in stained glass, lampwork beads
and fused glass too, especially sea glass. Soon to come
is my ceramic studio!

Marietta, Georgia is home! My interest in beads and jewelry began
in 2002 while visiting my mom in Tulsa, Oklahoma, (she lives in
Georgia now). I went to all the bead shops and purchased mostly
glass beads and sterling silver charms with no earthly clue of what
I’d create. After playing with my beads (there I go again) and ideas
for a year or so, I began to develop a style of mixing the usual
beads and colors with the unusual ones.
All of my unique, ‘one-of-a-kind’ designs for jewelry, with a few
borrowed ideas (not many) are carefully created. Each piece uses the best of materials
from sterling silver,
gold vermeil, gold-filled, silver or gold-plated (the good stuff),
semi-precious gemstones, Swarovski crystals, vintage and non-vintage
glass to Czech glass. My watch faces
are Geneva (stainless steel backs) and Geneva Elite (double the
stainless) plus some other superb manufacturers. Correct wire
and crimp size is very important as well!
Custom
designs for hard to match outfits are my specialty - if you have an
idea of what you want or you don't have a clue, email me at beads@beadsonthebrain.com.
With the grace of God, my family and my funny Welsh terrier, I
share my talent and creative flair with you! Thanks for looking and shopping,
Linda (aka beads on the brain)
